Certified Yoga Instructor & Integrative Nutrition Health Coach

Hi, I'm Ally, a certified yoga instructor and wellness coach, driven by a deep passion for holistic well-being, mindful travel, and sustainable living practices, AKA homesteading.

My journey in this realm is fueled by a commitment to fostering growth, clarity, and a deeper connection within myself and those I am honored to guide on this journey.

My knowledge lies in the realms of mindset cultivation, movement exploration, breathwork, and nutrition. I am dedicated to supporting individuals who aspire to cultivate a resilient and health-centric lifestyle, and those who wish to integrate more spiritual practices into their life. Additionally, I extend my guidance to those navigating autoimmune challenges, empowering them to reclaim their strength and vitality.

I offer a diversity of yoga classes, ranging from group sessions to personalized one-on-one sessions. Many of my group classes are a blend of Vinyasa and Yin, where movement meets introspection, but I also share many yoga styles, including Hatha, Vinyasa, 26 & 2, Yin, and Restorative.

I am eager to have the opportunity to share the transformative journey of health and wellness with each one of you.

Where it all began

John + I

My husband, John, and I initiated our health journey together several years ago. At the tender age of 13, John received a diagnosis of Ulcerative Colitis, an autoimmune condition with no known cure. Over the years, he endured relentless suffering, countless hospitalizations, and a myriad of medications, all without significant improvement.

Meanwhile, I faced my own health challenges: chronic stomach issues, debilitating fatigue, mood swings, and persistent feelings of depression and insecurity. Despite seeking medical advice, I was often dismissed with assurances that my symptoms were merely a part of growing up.

Determined to reclaim our health and vitality, we made the bold decision to overhaul our lifestyles, starting with our diets. Through a process of experimentation, we explored various dietary approaches, including veganism, vegetarianism, carnivory, gluten-free, and paleo diets. Despite the challenges, our perseverance paid off as we gradually discovered the profound impact of dietary changes on our overall well-being.

Today, John no longer relies on any medication to manage his Ulcerative Colitis, and I feel better than I ever have before. Together, we’ve achieved milestones that once seemed unattainable, such as traveling the world – feats that doctors once deemed impossible.

Our journey has taught us invaluable lessons about the power of lifestyle changes to transform our lives. Now, I’m passionate about sharing our experiences and insights to help others avoid common pitfalls on their path to wellness.

More About My Trainings

I spent 5 weeks on a spiritual journey with my husband and immersed myself in the age-old traditions and rituals of yoga on Koh Phangan island in the Gulf of Thailand. Focusing on Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga. Completing my 200-Hr Yoga Teacher Training.

After completing my yoga teacher training, I started teaching immediately and found it so fulfilling. I began taking additional yoga courses which led me into Health Coaching.

I became a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) where I learned innovative coaching methods, practical lifestyle management techniques, and over 100 dietary theories – Ayurveda, gluten-free, Paleo, raw, vegan, macrobiotics, and everything in between.

I have a background in various fields such as nutrition, fitness, yoga, environmental and holistic health. I work collaboratively with YOU to empower you to make positive lifestyle changes, improve your overall health, and achieve a state of well-being that encompasses physical, mental, and emotional health.

I offer a space where we can learn and grow together in our own individual ways. A non-judgmental space, open to everyone and created to support one another with love and compassion.

My Role as an Integrative Wellness Coach:

As an Integrative Wellness Coach I help individuals achieve and maintain holistic well-being by integrating various aspects of your health and life. This approach combines elements from various disciplines, such as nutrition, physical activity, spirituality, stress management, home cooking, emotional well-being, and lifestyle choices to create a comprehensive wellness plan.
Key aspects as an Integrative Wellness Coach include:

Assessment: I conduct a thorough assessment of the your physical, mental, and emotional health, taking into account your lifestyle, habits, and goals.
Goal Setting: I work with you to define clear and achievable wellness goals.
Customized Plans: Based on the assessment and goals, I create a personalized wellness plan that often includes recommendations for diet, exercise, stress reduction, and other lifestyle factors.
Education: I provide information and education on various aspects of health and wellness, helping you make informed decisions.
Accountability: I offer ongoing support and motivation to help you stay on track with your wellness plan.
Holistic Approach: As an Integrative Wellness Coach, I consider the whole person, recognizing the interconnectedness of physical and mental well-being, and aim to create balance in all aspects of life.
Preventive Health: I focus on preventive measures to maintain health and reduce the risk of chronic diseases.
